Join us virtually this Wednesday at 6pm to continue our monthly Paper Review series! This week will be a detailed review of the system card paper for Anthropic’s Claude 3.7 Sonnet. Claude 3.7 is a new hybrid reasoning model designed to enhance transparency in AI decision-making processes.

This virtual session will examine the technical aspects of Claude 3.7, including its Extended Thinking Mode, training methodologies using publicly available datasets, human feedback, and Constitutional AI principles. The discussion will explore the model’s performance across various tasks, such as software engineering, cybersecurity, and autonomous agents, highlighting strengths and addressing limitations. We will also look at the coding agent “Claude Code” released alongside 3.7 sonnet.
